Alan Ritchson Slams Donald Trump Over Epstein Files in Fiery Interview

‎Alan Ritchson is once again speaking out against Donald Trump, with the Reacher star using a new interview to criticize the president and demand the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files.
‎Ritchson made the comments during an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he acknowledged his reputation for speaking freely and being considered a “loose cannon” because of his words.

‎Explaining his approach, the actor said he believes he is saying what people should be saying if they care about humanity.
‎“I’m just saying the shit that everybody should say if they give a shit about humanity. Everybody else should feel like I feel,” Ritchson said.
‎His comments then became focused on the Epstein files. Ritchson expressed frustration over what he described as the slow drip of the files and referenced Trump's alleged association with Jeffrey Epstein, the infamous financier and convicted pedophile.
‎“The Epstein files, the fucking Epstein files!” Ritchson said. “Goddamn it! Where are they? It’s a fucking law, bitch. Show it. You fucking pedophiles!”
‎Ritchson went on to describe what he would do if he had the authority to release the files, saying he would push past any obstacles to obtain them.
‎“This is my fucking politics, dude. I would fucking railroad these fuckers. I would get those Epstein files out in two seconds. Fucking move out of the way. I don’t care what room they’re in, bitch, move. Give me the fucking manila envelope. I will get you the Epstein files.”
‎The latest remarks continue a pattern of political criticism from Ritchson. The actor has been open about his Christian faith and has previously said he voted Republican. His political views, however, have reportedly angered some MAGA-leaning viewers of Reacher.
‎Ritchson previously spoke out against Trump in 2024, also criticizing the way he believed Christians viewed the president.
‎“Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe. It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do,” Ritchson said in 2024. “Trump is a rapist and a con man. And yet the entire Christian church seems to be treat him like he’s their poster child, and it’s unreal. I don’t understand it.”
‎The actor's criticism of Trump has continued two years later. Ritchson again questioned why people would not want access to the Epstein files so that individuals could potentially be held accountable.
‎“Don’t you want to see what’s in there so that we can hold people accountable?” Ritchson said, alluding to Trump. “These fucking rapists. We’re just cool with it. That bitch has the keys to the nuclear codes … Like dude, what? Go to jail.”
‎Trump has repeatedly denied rape allegations against him.
